Salary Range: £34,400 to £51,600 Per annum DOE + red-hot benefits
Location: UK Hybrid with attendance as requested at VM hub’s (such as Chester / Newcastle / London)

Our Credit Card team are well on their way to achieving their ambition to disrupt the market - smashing targets, winning industry awards and successfully building a credit card business, but we’re not done yet.  We have big growth plans and we can’t do this without a truly awesome team of talented people to make it happen.

We are looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our team to support/lead on control, assurance and audit tasks. This role is delightfully surprising and rewarding, and we are looking for you to bolster our existing brilliant team in Chester and the North West with demonstrable experience of high attention to detail, focused on controls and assurance activities.

If you think you can bring something to the role and have experience of helping businesses complete assurance activities using systems and process solutions, we’d love to hear from you! Experience in completing audits / testing processes in the credit card industry would also be a great advantage.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with credit card customers on TS2
  • Work daily BAU processes using excel and updating customer accounts on TS2.
  • Work inbox answering queries and logging and distributing work requests.
  • Complete daily and monthly reports.
  • Complete Self Audits on Business Operation processes
  • Complete self-audits on Fulfilment processes and fulfilment items.
  • Complete testing and assurance on TS2 configuration.
  • Create and write new test scripts for auditing bus ops processes and the credit card core platform.
  • Complete GDPR reviews.

We need you to have

  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to problem solve and find the best solutions.
  • Understanding of the constraints of using sensitive and confidential data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). Must be confident using excel.
  • Flexibility and proactivity with the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential

  • System knowledge of TS2
  • Financial services experience.
  • Knowledge of banking products.
  • Project/change management tools & methodologies.
  • Experience of testing.
  • Auditing and reconciliation experience.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
