What do I need to apply?
Update your CV and tailor it to the role you're applying for by highlighting your strengths and selling your skills. On your application, work your magic and tell us why you want to work at Virgin Money and why you would be right for the role. Our application process is simple, slick and straightforward, so what are you waiting for?
Will you tell me how I did?
Absolutely. Regardless of the outcome (which we hope will be positive), we'll let you know if you`re progressing to next stage. If you'd like interview feedback, we'll be happy to provide it.
I got an interview – what's next?
Preparation is key. Think about how your experience could align with our values (hint: they're on our website). Remember that your story is uniquely yours and we’re excited to hear it. Show us you're passionate about helping our customers. Make notes, structure your answers, and do a practice run with a mate. Do your research. Who are we? What do we do? What products and services do we offer? Finally, just let us know if there are any adjustments we can make, or anything you need from us to help you bring the best version of yourself.
It's interview day – how do I prepare?
Many of our interviews take place virtually, some will be in person. If your interview is face to face, plan your journey in advance and make sure you know where you’re going. Some of our collaboration hubs and stores have limited parking so please ask us about available spaces and nearby parking. If your interview is virtual, check your camera-compatible device is charged and ready to go. Make sure you're in a quiet, comfortable place. Dress as you would for an in-person interview, so you ooze confidence. Log in early, have your CV and notes to hand, and have a pen and paper ready in case you want to jot anything down. Is there anything you'd like to ask us? It can be helpful to think about this beforehand and note it down so you can pitch in with questions that we'll happily answer.
And we're live – how do I stand out?
Interviews can be nerve-wracking experiences, but remember that we want to hear all about you – you could be the voice we need, so wow us with your story. We want you to do well, so take things at your pace. If you need to think about your answer, do so. If you need to hear the question again, don't hesitate to ask. Look at the interviewer and smile. Be confident and own it – we're rooting for you!
I got the job – what happens next?
Once you have been offered the role and signed your contract, you will be properly inducted into the rock and roll hall of Virgin Money. Our Welcome Hub contains an abundance of materials to help you orientate yourself in your new role. If you're working remotely, you'll meet your team members via virtual sessions.
