Salary range: £79,000 to £99,000 depending on experience 
Location: Hybrid – with occasional travel to a hub when required - London, Newcastle or Glasgow.
Contract type: 12 month fixed term contract

Our Team 
Our Capital Management Team is responsible for reporting our capital performance, forecasting our capital position and ensuring that we effectively manage capital risks, including execution of the ICAAP process for VMUK. The team will play a key role in working collaboratively on integration and transitional activities with Nationwide, leading workstreams where relevant.
What you’ll be doing
• Delivery of the Capital Management owned ICAAP activities and analysis. 
• Leading/supporting the production of capital results and analysis, including senior committee material.
• Engaging as relevant with equivalent Group stakeholders at Nationwide.
• Produce bespoke capital analysis and identify appropriate forecast assumptions where appropriate. 
• Provide timely advice and guidance to stakeholders on the capital related impacts of strategic business proposals and decisions.
• Support as required on Capital-related transition and integration initiatives between VMUK/Nationwide.
We need you to have
• Proven experience in a capital management related function (reporting/planning, risk management, ICAAP or stress testing), from a first line or Prudential Risk/Oversight background. 
• A good understanding of the UK prudential framework and the ability to interpret and assess the impacts of regulatory change.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex topics in verbal and written forms.
• Demonstrated the ability to undertake complex analysis and problem-solving activities with limited support. 
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the business.
• An appropriate qualification in Accounting or Treasury (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CertBALM etc.).
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
• Previous experience working with a Tier 1 bank
