Lead Test Environment Architect

What you’ll be doing
Responsible for refining the Enterprise Environment strategy and approach across the Testing Environments
Responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Environment capability in terms of best practice, tooling and standards
Responsible for evaluating the testing requirements and producing the test environment design including both component and data requirements for inclusion to the Test Approach
Input into the management and tracking of environment costs and associated budgets including production of all RtL estimates.
Working closely with Business and Technology colleagues and third parties to ensure that environment options are effectively evaluated and that robust recommendations are made.
Ongoing governance of environment delivery against agreed designs, approach, and budget.
Working closely with the Quality Chapter Leads and Senior Quality Leads to ensure the Test Environment strategy and approach meets the needs of the banks & supports the Enterprise Test Strategy.
Communicating with Information Security to ensure compliance with security standards.
We need you to have
Strong technical knowledge of the Testing Environment
Experience of providing technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders
Ability to work to challenging timescales and deliver to planned schedules
Strong understanding of project management methodologies
Extensive experience working within large multi-platform environments within their technical specialism
Ability to provide technical advice and guidance to staff to ensure timely delivery of test environments
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
Qualified to an appropriate level in Technical Specialism
Technical SME knowledge to internal/external teams of the testing environment
Knowledge of deploying applications both from installers and as individual components
